Addressing the critical need for reliable electricity in remote areas, this project provides a lifeline for an off-grid school in Africa. It mitigates the challenges of electricity accessibility, ensuring that education can continue uninterrupted by power outages.
Previously reliant on expensive and polluting generators, the school now benefits from a clean energy solution. The project reduces diesel consumption by 132 metric tons annually, significantly lowering the carbon footprint of the facility.
The financial relief is equally impactful, with annual savings of $17,800 in power generation costs. These funds, previously spent on fuel, can now be redirected towards educational resources and facility improvements.
