The installation of two 240kW DC chargers at a highway site in Oakland marks a major milestone in advancing the U.S. electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The newly deployed charging solution features the SINEXCEL SEC240 DC charger, a state-of-the-art, high-power integrated charger known for its innovative and modular design. Offering scalability and flexibility, the SEC240 charger is capable of meeting the diverse needs of the growing EV market. With rapid charging capabilities, the 240kW unit can typically provide a 185-mile driving range in just 15 minutes of charging. This makes it an ideal solution for high-demand scenarios such as highway rest stops, corporate workplaces, fleet operations, and heavy-duty vehicle applications.
