The 200MW/400MWh energy storage power station in Kaiyang County is located in Shuangliu Town, Guiyang City. It is one of the 15 optimally configured independent energy storage demonstration projects within Guizhou Province, and the first centralized energy storage power station in Guiyang City. As a part of Guizhou Province's 2023 independent energy storage demonstration projects, it effectively guarantees a high-quality, safe, reliable, and highly efficient power supply for the local area, while playing a crucial supporting role in building a modern energy system in Guizhou.
Working Around the Clock, Going All Out
The SINEXCEL on-site energy storage team strictly executed their plans with seamless coordination. They completed the preliminary wiring, individual unit commissioning, and overall system commissioning in just 7 days. Within 10 hours, they rapidly achieved everything from the 35kV grid-connection test to full-capacity grid-tied operation, collaborating with the client to deliver the project on schedule, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Black Start Capability, Commissioning-Friendly
The energy storage products are equipped with a complete black start function. Before the site is connected to the grid, a black start can be initiated simply by using the DC power output from the battery system. This allows for back-to-back power testing both on and off the grid, which significantly shortens the commissioning cycle and facilitates rapid grid connection for the project.
Modular Multi-Branch, Stable Operation
Each Power Conversion System (PCS) contains 10 power modules. By utilizing the pioneering modular multi-branch technology, it provides one-to-one charge and discharge management for the 10 battery clusters within a single 3.44MWh battery cabin. In this project, a total of 580 PCS modules independently manage 580 battery clusters. This solves the "weakest link" effect (barrel effect) and circulating current issues, significantly improving overall battery utilization.
