In October 2024, the project 'Research on Key Technologies and Equipment for Grid-forming Energy Storage Inverters,' led by the Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau, officially launched as part of the 2023 Guangdong Province Key Areas R&D Program. SINEXCEL will work closely with several leading research institutions and key enterprises to conduct in-depth research across five key areas: 'topology, algorithms and control, components and systems, standards and evaluation, and configuration and demonstration.'
By focusing on breakthroughs in essential technologies such as stable control algorithms, strategies, and adaptive control techniques, SINEXCEL aims to develop a new generation of grid-forming energy storage inverters that meet international standards, with a particular focus on string-type energy storage inverters and grid-forming technologies, in collaboration with its partners.
